16-22 August 2026, 31st World Muzzle-Loading Championships, Eisenstadt, Austria. Details as they are received.

August 2027, USIMLT Short-Range Selection Match. Location and schedule TBD, but expect the Fairfax Rod & Gun Club, Manassas, VA. Most probable dates 2-6 August.

October 2027, Long-Range World Championships. Raton, NM. Details TBD

August 2028, 32nd World Muzzle-Loading Championships, Châteauroux, France. Timing TBD.

Keep Sending In Qualification Targets

Yes, you may be on the Team, but this is the time when you need to be training hard…because the European shooters will certainly be practicing. If possible, shoot your normal events and send in training targets.

Please put your name, date, match name or number, original or reproduction fire arm and weather conditions on all targets. Take a picture of the target(s) and send them to Bob Peloquin, Captain; Bob Lineaweaver, Pistol Lieutenant; or Mark Pafford, Long Arms Lieutenant .

Match #5 Cominazzo, flintlock smoothbore pistol, Qualifying scores, Original 70, Repro 83.

Match #6 Kuchenreuter, percussion rifled pistol, Qualifying scores, original 89, Repro 91.

Match #7 Colt, Original revolver only, qualifying score 86.

Match #12 Mariette, Reproduction revolver, 25 meters, qualifying score 89.

Match #23 Donald Malson, 50 meters, qualifying score original 69, repro 72.

And even if the weather is stopping you from going outside, you can always train with air rifle and air pistol.
